I chose this hotel for attending a symposium and the computer station provided was very convenient for me to work on presentations and research. The amenities were top-notch and enhanced my overall experience at the hotel.
The only service I missed for my work was a printing and scanning facility. It would have been helpful to have access to these services on-site to handle important documents and paperwork.

I recently stayed at Guest House Kyoto Inn for my vacation in Japan. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering advice on nearby attractions and even selling bus passes at the reception. The location was convenient, close to a subway station and Kyoto station. There was also a delicious and affordable sushi restaurant within walking distance. I had an excellent experience at Guest House Kyoto Inn.
Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Guest House Kyoto Inn are amazing! They are beautifully decorated, making you feel right at home. The shared kitchen on the 2nd floor is a great addition for those who like to cook. The private balconies or patios in some rooms are a lovely touch. The bathrooms are clean and come with complimentary toiletries.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom. However, I understand that some guests might not mind it and still enjoy their stay.

I stayed at Kyoto Guesthouse INN for 7 days and it was perfect for my travel purpose. The staff was nice and the price was good. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything I needed. The guesthouse also provided a kitchen and I could borrow an umbrella on rainy days. The location was convenient, with a 7-11 nearby and close proximity to Umekoji Bus and Umekoji JR Station. The staff was accommodating, allowing me to check in early if the room was ready and storing my luggage after checkout. Highly recommend Kyoto Guesthouse INN.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our family and make our stay memorable. The location was conveniently close to the JR station and the city center, making it easy for us to explore Kyoto. The comfortable beds provided the perfect respite after a day of sightseeing, ensuring our kids had a good night's sleep. We are grateful to Essam for his warm hospitality and look forward to meeting him again in Spain. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!
For dads, it would be great if the common area had more seating options.

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. the owner and staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. the cleanliness of the guesthouse was outstanding, with comfortable beds and separate, clean toilets and showers for boys and girls. We loved the convenience of having free coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. the kitchen was a highlight, always spotlessly clean and well, equipped. the location was ideal, with Tambaguchi train station just a 7, minute walk away, allowing for easy access to all the main attractions in Kyoto. We were also impressed with the detailed map provided by the guesthouse, making sightseeing a breeze.
Our 7, day stay was a delightful experience. Cons: Nothing to dislike!

Our visit to Kyoto with our two kids was made even more memorable thanks to our stay at this cozy hostel. The welcoming and helpful staff ensured we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area allowed us to prepare meals together as a family, making us feel right at home. The location, although not in the heart of the city, was conveniently near a train station, making it easy for us to explore Kyoto's attractions.
My wife says that having a small play area or activity room for kids would be great.

During my stay at Guest House Kyoto Inn, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. They even left an origami and notes on my bed, which made me feel incredibly special. The guesthouse itself was extremely clean and had all the necessary amenities for travelers like myself. The air conditioner, kitchen, and clean bathrooms were definite highlights. The location was also convenient, with bus no205 taking me directly from Kyoto Station to Umekoji Koen, just a short 200-meter walk away. Plus, being in close proximity to the Kyoto Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium was a bonus. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and convenient location.

Stayed with my friends and we had a blast exploring Kyoto. The staff were super cool and spoke English. Rooms were clean and comfy. We visited two cool places: Fushimi Inari Shrine with the epic torii gates and the Gion district where we saw geisha and ate amazing street food. Such a rad time!
The only thing I'd ask for is a bit more nightlife around the area. We're party people and it would have been cool to have some fun bars or clubs nearby.
